Principal Software Engineer

Job Description

• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams
• Contribute to architectural planning, roadmap planning, and process reengineering
• Ensure software is defect free by reviewing PR’s, conducting timely code reviews, and coaching juniors
• Document and encourage to document processes, changelogs, etc.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge  and personal development through
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management

Job Specification

• Minimum 6 years of experience working as a Full Stack Software Engineer specializing in system design, development, deployment, and maintenance
• Hands-on experience in working with the latest front-end (e.g React Js), and backend (NodeJs, ExpressJs, KnexJs ) technologies (MERN Stack)
• Excellent Knowledge of MySQL and Relational databases, Knowledge of Mongo DB and NoSQL Databases would be a huge plus
• Effective verbal, and written communication skills and expressive personality
• Knowledge of real-time messaging like Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ would be a huge plus
• Experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, Elastic beanstalk, S3, Cloudwatch) 
• Familiar with working in the Agile environment and working in an Agile team
